As previously announced, Stitch’s Supersonic Celebration closed on Saturday, June 27. I visited Walt Disney World this past weekend, so I made a point to watch the show to see what it was like.
Instead of trying to describe the show to you, I’ve included a video of it below. I apologize in advance for the shakiness and the people who walk in front of the camera; I was filming with my digital camera and I don’t have the steadiest of hands.
As you can see, almost all of the people watching the show are sitting in the sun, one of the likely reasons for the attractions closing. Additionally, the only seating for the show is a couple benches in front of the sound/audio booth and the benches/walls in front of the various planters in the area (this is where I was seated when people weren’t standing in front of me).
It’s very disappointing that Disney created this attraction without any planning for seating or shade. After all, the show is decent and I think it would attract considerably more guests if they were able to sit down and escape the summer sun.
